NCC PLATINUM JUBILEE HALF MARATHON IS ON 27th NOVEMBER 2022

National Cadet Core (NCC) is celebrating Platinum Jubilee of its raising on 27th Nov 2022.
Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh NCC Directorate is organising a Platinum Jubilee Half Marathon on 27th November 2022 at Chandigarh Club. The run will be of 21 km, 10 km, 5 kms, with 4 age categories of 18 to 35 years, 36 to 50 years,51 to 60 years, and 60 years and above. Cash prizes will be given to the winners in each category. Honourable Governor of Punjab Shri Banwari Lal Purohit is the Chief Guest for the event who will flag- off the run. Chandigarh Distance Runner (CDR) is running partner for this event while runners from nearby places like Patiala, Jalandhar and Ambala have been invited for the run. Shri Amar Singh Chauhan who has recently won 101st Gold Medal in running and fondly called as Golden Sikh by the running community will grace the occasion to motivate young NCC cadets to take up running as a sport for keeping fit and healthy.
The nation looks forward to NCC the largest uniformed Youth Organisation in the world to inculcate the values of Comradeship, Discipline, National Unity, and Self-less service amongst our youth. The multifaceted activities and varied curriculum of the NCC provides unique opportunities to the youth for self -development. NCC continues its relentless efforts towards moulding the present day, youth into responsible citizens of tomorrow. NCC is dedicated towards nation building.
