18 martial arts students awarded degrees and belts

18 students of Emerald Martial Arts Academy were awarded degrees and belts here today.  They were selected after a degree and black belt test conducted for age groups 8-20 years.

The test was conducted under the able guidance of Master Shiv Raj Gharti – 5^th Dan Black Belt (Korea)

All the candidates appearing underwent a strenuous test. These students practice in various centers of Emerald Martial Art in Tricity and had achieved Black Belt after 4 years of hard & consistent training.

The 18 proud students who were able to achieve the Degree & Black Belt included Tarushi Gaur who was awarded 4^th Dan Black Belt. Other 17 were awarded 1^st Dan Black Belt.

These included Kaashvi Kaushik, Vinay, Tejas Pawar, Kashish Aggarwal, Deepesh Pangta, Riddhi Mohan, Sanam Gharti, Kiush Gharti, Anish Jana, Priyanshu Thakur, Veerangna Joshi, Neev Mahajan, Arav Syal, Benjamin, Uday Batra, Malvika, and Sourav.
