A Gathering of Evergreen Film Songs held

The Jaya Goyal Social Welfare Society, under the leadership of social worker and society president Jaya Goyal, organized an event celebrating the Sawan month with a collection of evergreen songs. The event took place at a hotel in Manimajra, featuring amateur singers from Tri-city as well as Punjab and Haryana. These singers enchanted the audience with their renditions of timeless songs. They made a commendable effort to present songs originally sung by renowned artists like Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, and Asha Bhonsle in their own voices. More than 25 amateur singers participated in the event, making it truly memorable.

Special guests Colonel (Retired) C.M. Sharma, Colonel Vikram Singh, and social worker Priyanka Rathore attended the event. They were welcomed by the event organizers, including society president Jaya Goyal and society members Umesh Kumar Goyal and Sushil Kumar Goyal, with bouquets of flowers. The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

In her opening speech, Jaya Goyal detailed the society’s welfare activities and expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and attendees. She acknowledged the support of Om Sons and JP Healthcare in making the event successful. Jaya mentioned that the goal of the event was to provide a platform for amateur singers to showcase their hidden talents. She also highlighted that singing evergreen songs was a way to pay heartfelt tribute to the distinguished artists.

At the end of the program, organizers Jaya Goyal and other dignitaries honored the artists with mementos. The music was managed by Rajbeer, while the stage was managed by Kanchan Bhalla
