AIPL Ludhiana T10 cricket bash from August 3-6 The clash of titans sees eight teams participating

Advance India Projects Limited (AIPL) is hosting the AIPL Ludhiana T10 cricket tournament from August 3-6, 2023 at AIPL DreamCity Ludhiana. Eight teams from all over Ludhiana’s corporate circuit are taking part in the event.

In addition to trophies, winners shall receive Rs 21,000 as prize money while runners up shall get Rs 11,000. Daily matches shall have a man of the match who shall be suitably rewarded.

Each match will be of 10 overs each and each team shall have the standard 11 players each. The teams participating are: Majority Cricket Club, Goodwill, Spartans, Thunder Strikers, Indians, Titans, Royals and AIPL Ludhiana Titans.

Speaking at the coming together of the city’s cricket enthusiasts, Mr Shamsheer Singh Director AIPL said: “The objective behind the initiation of this T10 cricket tournament at AIPL is to give opportunities to Sports enthusiasts in Ludhiana’s Corporate Offices to come together as teams, boost employee morale and to provide these Sports lovers with an opportunity to showcase their Sporting abilities for their respective organizations. Sports plays a crucial role in bridging gaps in competitive environments and is a great medium for bonding and building networks amongst the industry members.’’

AIPL DreamCity Ludhiana has always promoted a healthy lifestyle. While the green environs of the township help citizens live a healthier life, they have also promoted sports and have organised various tournaments on a regular basis. While this cricket tournament is one such example, the township recently also organised a marathon in this regard.

The importance of being outdoors and playing Sports for Corporate executives is very underrated. Sports can teach values such as fairness, teambuilding, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect and facilitates the building of strong bonds that translate to the workplace well.
