DO’s and DON’Ts if you have ‘Fatty Liver’

Insulin resistance is very common in those with fatty liver disease. That means your body produces insulin but is unable to properly utilize it.

If you have fatty liver, however, the best ‘home cure’ is to follow these guidelines:

 

Take enough sleep — Getting a good night’s sleep, about 7 hours, will keep your mind fresh throughout the day.

Exercising- Do 30 minutes of exercise every day in the morning.

Obtain a healthy weight – Obesity causes a fatty liver. So keep an eye on your weight as well. Remove any fat-containing things from your daily schedule.

Control Diabetes – If you have fatty liver and diabetes, you should keep your blood sugar levels under control. When your blood sugar level rises, it causes tension.

Reduce Your Cholesterol Level – Reduce your cholesterol level by eliminating fried foods from your diet. In addition, taking a 20-minute workout every day can help lower your cholesterol levels.

Doctors, on the other hand, recommend that consumers consume the following foods to treat fatty liver:

1. Almond Milk

2. Cup of coffee

3. Vitamin E-rich foods

4. Drinking water

5. Extra virgin olive oil

6. Garlic

7. Fruits and vegetables are number seven on the list.

8. Grain, whole

9. Seafood or fish

You must also avoid the following ingredients:

1. Diet Beverages – Drinking diet drinks can harm your liver.

2. Butter and Ghee – Limit your intake of butter and ghee.

3. Alcohol – For the following few months, reduce your alcohol consumption. We all know that drinking alcohol impairs liver function.

4. Fried Food — Fried food in excess should be prohibited since it is harmful to the liver. Because fried foods add calories to your body weight, you should avoid them.

5. Salty Food – Food that contains more salt than typical food promotes fatty liver. Because it has more calories, it is directly linked to weight growth.

6. Sugary beverages — Sugary beverages such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Pepsi contain extra sugar, which should be avoided during fatty liver.

7. Desserts – Sweetened foods such as cakes, pastries, and ice creams are unhealthy.

8. Red meat – Red meat is seasoned with spices that are harmful to the liver.
