Harjinder Pal Singh’s Autobiography ‘Semi-Luckiest’ Hits the Shelves

Renowned for his unwavering commitment to the betterment of the society and leading an impactful life filled with captivating trails, Harjinder Pal Singh, a Panjab University alumni launched his autobiography titled ‘Semi-Luckiest’ here at Chandigarh Press Club today by Dr. D.P. Singh. The book is a poignant narrative that delves into the various chapters of Singh’s extraordinary journey from working in a tech-giant, Microsoft in the US to joining Not-for-Profit organisations there, of which he is still a part.

While shedding light on his experience of writing this autobiography, Harjinder shares, “Embarking on the journey of ‘Semi-Luckiest’ has been a profound experience, allowing me to reflect on the twists and turns that shape our lives. Harjinder Pal Singh is multilingual writer and the book Semi-Luckiest is an insight into his lie in India and the US. Born in Amritsar, he spent five years in Shimla. He studied in DAV College here and later Panjab University. His first job was in a bank and then Swaraj Mazda before he moved to the USA after spending forty years in Chandigarh.

He joined Microsoft and later joined Non-Profit Organisations like the Sikh Center of Seattle, Service of Core Humanity in Bothell City, Member of Interfaith KBIG in Kenmore City, and city police and religious organisations in Lynnwood City. Harjinder had also come in support of Hindu and Sikhs minorities communities fighting together against hate crime in the US. He had requested a federal investigation and a law on hate crime.

He was a bridge between the Governor house and White House as well as the Indian embassy in San Francisco. He has also written a Hindi book Nari Nahi Bachari which is awaiting publication.
