On the eve of Friendship Day, Toral Rasputra and Parul Chauhan , on-screen rivals of Sony SAB’s Dharm Yoddha Garud chat about their strong bond

August 4,2022: ( AVAJ APKI NEWS )

The epic drama Dharm Yoddha Garud on Sony SAB is well known not just for its stunning visuals and captivating storyline, but also for the fierce rivalry between the two sisters Kadru (Parul Chauhan) and Vinta (Toral Rasputra). Kadru is very envious of Vinta, who is liked by everyone because of her gentle and compassionate disposition. When the opportunity comes up, she dupes Vinta and forces her into a life of servitude. Even though the two women’s on-screen relationship is severely strained, their off-screen relationship is quite the opposite. That’s correct! In real life, Parul Chauhan and Toral Rasputra are close buddies who are ‘the biggest cheerleaders’ to each other.

In a candid conversation, Toral Rasputra talks about her friendship with Parul Chauhan “Parul is a fabulous actor. It’s incredible how such a lovely person could play a villain. We first connected during the casting, and we’ve been really close ever since. We were each other’s biggest cheerleaders even during the audition process! She is also someone who loves getting yummy food on sets for everyone and we love sitting together during lunch and chat. She is really lively, and her upbeat personality gives me an instant boost.”

Parul Chauhan echoes the same thoughts and shares, “She was the ideal choice for the role of Vinta, so I knew she would do well in the auditions. She brightens every day on the set and cheers me up if I feel low. Whenever I need someone to talk to, she’s there. She is my support system. I believe our close connection adds to our terrific on-screen chemistry. I count myself lucky to have her as a co-star and friend.”

Talking about their contrasting relations on and off camera Toral comments, “It sure does confuse people to see us locking horns on-screen and being close friends off screen. However, I believe it’s our close bond and deep understanding of each other which makes it possible for us to portray our character’s bitterness towards one another.”

Adding to that Parul says, “I agree! It’s actually funny how contrasting our character’s relation is to our real-life friendship. Vinta and Kadru detest each other but we are extremely close in reality. People’s reactions when they get to know this is also highly amusing. I’m very happy and grateful for our friendship and hope it lasts forever.”
